GerryBooth   10 #613 Posted February 1, 2016 There are quite a few verygood roofing companies but most are booked up for months.  For new and re-roofs I use Philip Dalton. Always on time and good lads not the cheapest though.
 Share this content via...
Stujo   10 #614 Posted February 8, 2016 Morning All  Need a roofer as soon as to fix a leak - the bucket won't last forever - Loxley S6 area. Hopefully a small repair so if anyone can fit us in (despite being busy!) I'd be really grateful. Experience of a roof with solar panels on would be beneficial.  Thanks! ZIPPYZ Â Â 10 #615 Posted February 11, 2016 Looking for a roofer who can pop over to Oughtibridge S35 and take a look at what I hope is a small leak :-) Â This morning we noticed a damp patch on the ceiling and chimney breast in an upstairs bedroom. Pretty sure it's only been there a few days at most and it still feels damp.
 Share this content via...
Mark Dowie   10 #616 Posted February 11, 2016 I always check to see what trade organisations they are a member of. At least that way you know they've been vetted to some degree.
 Share this content via...
timfoolery   10 #617 Posted April 13, 2016 I am looking for a recommendation for a company that fit a new roof and a dormer window unit. If possible I am looking for a company who has sufficient design and structural engineering expertise without me needing to also find an external architect and /or structural engineer. Is this possible or realistic. I am assuming this should be quite straightforward as it is for an existing loft conversion in a standard terraced house
 Share this content via...

If youd like to discuss further just give me a call but it would be August now before I could fit the job in.
 Share this content via...

saeed2122 Â Â 10 #620 Posted May 24, 2016 I've got a small slate roofed porch that is a real eye sore with broken slates etc. How much roughly should it cost to replace the slate and repoint ridge tiles. Id say it's about 1mx2m corner quadrant in size.
 Share this content via...

dan2802   53 #624 Posted June 1, 2016 Barnsley area I think  If your happy with the quote given then go for it. There are quite a few of us on here who have been around quite a while with good feedback so perhaps give one of us a try. Just dont part with any money upfront or until your happy with the work.
