I wonder if Ed Miliband questions whether he is suited to public life?

It never rains but it pours..:hihi::hihi:

Ed Miliband, the Labour leader, has bungled the simple task of sending a tweet to mark the death of Bob Holness, the host of Blockbusters.

A message posted from Ed Miliband's Twitter account read: "Sad to hear that Bob Holness has died. A generation will remember him fondly from Blackbusters."

Diane Abbott eat your heart out..:hihi::hihi:

Why is he still wearing a poppy?

Couldn't the Telegraph be bothered to use a more appropriate photograph? (Like this one, for example.)

Surely there are better photographs of Milliband?

He's earned a bit of criticism recently and he may not be popular with everybody, but it's not true that he hasn't got any friends.

Is it?.

This shows Ed before and after going into makeup for a TV interview.

The wig is a dead give away.

Last year he visited Barnsley just after Labour's by-election victory there and made a speech in the town centre. See

and after about 36 seconds he says Nick Cameron instead of Nick Clegg. Hopeless.

Well "Nick Cameron" is a more appropriate description for the amorphous blob that is the PM/DeputyPM

He's probably a really nice chap to have a beer with or live next door to. I just feel sorry for him parading himself about, he seems just like a schoolboy in a suit. He's not going anywhere and has no influence on anything really......poor man.

He should sack Diane Abbott though, and failing to do so doesn't make him look any better.

Haha...Not in the same league as when maggy snatcher let slip her delusions of grandeur, when announcing that she was going to be a grandmother. See here

The country isn't laughing...too busy signing on, closing their businesses, trying to find the money for the extra price hikes etc

You can think what you like but people are having hysterics laughing at Miliband.

This one had me in tucks as well as the house of commons.

Today, was yet another reminder that David Cameron knows just where to hit Ed Miliband to make it hurt. After a few questions on the economy, Miliband moved to Europe — the coalition’s greatest vulnerability. Miliband joked that it was ‘good to see the deputy Prime Minister back in his place’, before mocking the coalition’s divisions over Europe. Cameron began his reply by saying it was no surprise Tories and Lib Dems don’t agree on Europe before saying that the split on the issue could be exaggerated: ‘it’s not like we’re brothers or anything,’ Cameron said in his most mocking tone. At this line you could see the Labour benches deflate and one of his aides visibly winced. They knew that the PM had punched their leader in the place where it hurts most.

After this, there was no comeback for Miliband. He gamely attempted to carry on with a joke about Cameron’s 4am phone call to Clegg but his demeanour suggested he knew the session was lost.

The Labour leader and his team urgently need to find an answer to Cameron’s favourite punch. Until they do, Cameron is going to have a way out of nearly every PMQs jam he gets himself into.

If you feel readyfor it you can see the episode on YouTube. I'm not sure if you are ready for it yet. I don't want you wetting yourself.

During the leadership fight he was invited to our local school to meet some pupils who wanted to tell him how disappointed they was over the cancellation of their new school under the "schools for the future" plan. ( i do know it was the cons that actually cancelled it). I was asked to attend to take some photo's for the local paper.

During the meeting with the pupils he clearly did not want to be there. He continually looked at the ceiling, walls, his nails, in fact anywere except his "questioners". His answer's were monosyllabic and most of the time were standard answer's not even related to the question. He couldn't wait to get out of there and after could only spare about 10 seconds for a shot with some of the pupils.

After this public episode i can have no respect for the man and feel he is certainly not fit to be a leader of anything.
