What magic wand? There aren't any magic wands, there is only supply and demand. That's why governments should keep their nose out of business beyond enabling the right conditions for it to flourish. The Falklands were invaded by Argentinian forces against the wishes of its inhabitants who regard themselves British. If you believe we should have accepted that then in my book you are defeatist.

 

My understanding and forgive me if I'm wrong is that although they are British they are not natives. This harps back to when we invaded everywhere and had an empire which thankfully has gone. Therefore we should evacuate the land we invaded and give it back to who should own it the Argentinians.
