GrannyGranny   10 #3 Posted January 4, 2012 Mate has a log cabin here  http://www.limefitt.com  There are a few that are available to rent.  Lovely spot with a shop and pub on site and probably one of my favourites pubs ever just up the road (Queens Head Troutbeck). Great breakfast, not too far from the lake, plenty of restaurants nearby. not overly priced either.  Stayed with two children.
