NEW WALKERS ALWAYS WELCOME

 

A fairly gentle 8 mile circular walk through woodlands and moorlands on the edge of Sheffield passing Redmires Dams & Plantation. Approximate time of walk - 4 hours.

 

Start time: 10.30am

 

Meeting Point: Lodge Moor Bus Terminus

 

Parking: On road ( just after terminus)

 

Public Transport: 51 bus. Traveline - 01709 515151

 

Walk Leaders: Hippiechick, Tiddlywink

Restrictions:

No Dogs.

The landowners have exercised their right to prohibit dogs on their access land.

Anyone joining the walk should be of a level of fitness relative to the walk being undertaken, be appropriately dressed, have suitable footwear, and have with them enough food and drink for the duration of the walk..

This was a great walk to do, again we were lucky with the weather, although it was certainly windy up on Lodge Moor especially at the head stone.

 

Great company and laughs.
