I have put that new game Star Wars The Old Republic on my computer. Having alot of lag whilst playing. Is there any way I can ask my computer to check if it can run this game?

What I mean my this is can I somehow click on my installed Star Wars and ask my computer to check if all ok to run this?

Also is anybody else on this game having the same problems?

Thanks

IF it is a genuine copy (bought from shop not d/loaded through torrent) the box will have on it the minimum specs required to play the game AFAIK all PC games have this

It is a bought copy and yes, specs on. But I don't understand them, unfortunately. Need a degree in computers to understand basic specs.

I not too sure how to check my computer's specs, to the game specs?

start/right click on my computer/properties gives you ram, cpu etc

also going into start/run and typing dxdiag tells you some info......display tells you your graphics card etc

Thank you.

Just read my graphics card info. I have a ATI Radeon HD 4250

I need a Radeon HD 4850, would this difference in graphics cause lag?

How much roughly would this cost me to rectify?

Thank you.
