So just 23 people complained officially?

23 out of how many people that watched the show?

He's been in the news before regarding his comments so now he's going to be shot down for any slight remark he makes.

If you don't like it, don't watch it and stop moaning.

I can't stand Eastenders, Emmerdale, Neighbours etc and think the story lines in them can be rather upsetting for a lot of people not to mention a pile of bad acting.

There's an old saying that goes 'you can't please everyone'. Regardless of the program, if you like it watch it, if you don't, don't. Why moan about 'possible' racist remarks, every single culture is guilty of it.

Well said ;)

The above is the best, most rational post in this thread.

I personally can't stand the program now (used to like it though) but just because I dislike it, I wouldn't go spouting that it should be banned :loopy:

I also really dislike Corrie, Emmerdale farm and all the other soaps where a smile or a laugh in the program is like committing a cardial sin:gag:

Biggsy :):)

There was a bit with the food cans challenge where they deliberately held the camera on a can which had a swasticka on it. This happened three times. No doubt it was nothing Nazi related (Buddah's footprint?) but I couldn't help feeling that they did it on purpose to get attention.

It was once a good car show but is now more choreographed than WWE.

What are people expecting? Top Gear is intentionally boorish, dull and unimaginative in its stereotypes. It is targeted at people resistant to the idea of growing up or attaining anything resembling a mature or balanced view of the world. It is what it is, a product of a media that panders to public obsession with the superficial. A program by adultescents for adultescents. But the answer surely is just to turn over. Or would be if it wasn't equally as bad or worse on the other channels.

Spot-on. Each old Toytown boy opens his motormouth he brings the end of his career that little bit closer. Plus he looks really old now!

Just watched it.

It was just a nice travel programme with a smattering of adolescent humour thrown in. Made India look very nice actually, and would like to visit.

Nothing to complain about unless you just like complaining.

Jesus, there's a few on here in desperate need of a sense of humor transplant. It's obviously scripted but they really couldn't have found 3 greater blokes to run it.

Have I got this right...?

People have complained, calling Clarkson racist for stating that you get the trots when in India? Have they not heard of Delhi belly? Or should I hand myself in to the local police station for saying that as well?

I liked the BBC original, it was actually informative about cars most people could afford. Now it just comedy show, and the car advice they offer is only for the top 5% earners in this country who could afford to buy the wrong car and not notice the money missing.

It was like a travel programme, with a bit of tech and a lot of predictably laughable comedy.
