Top gear racism

What are people expecting? Top Gear is intentionally boorish, dull and unimaginative in its stereotypes. It is targeted at people resistant to the idea of growing up or attaining anything resembling a mature or balanced view of the world. It is what it is, a product of a media that panders to public obsession with the superficial. A program by adultescents for adultescents. But the answer surely is just to turn over. Or would be if it wasn't equally as bad or worse on the other channels.

Been to India, have you?

Don't need to go to India, have you been and looked at the loos at any building site recently? The ones with large Indian contingents have a wooden block either side of the toilet so that they can stand or squat to go to the toilet because they refuse point blank to sit. Before this everybody else used to have to sit on the loo with filthy boot marks all over it, loo seats were constantly broken or ripped off and there was and remains a much higher 'miss' rate with faeces when you go to the toilet in this manner.

Might not be politically correct but unfortunately with many Indian's there is a lot lower standard of bog hygiene than when it comes to us.

And bogs on building sites are not expected to be pretty or particularly sanitary so when you get builders complaining you know there is a problem. The blocks have solved the problem with the feet and broken seats to some extent but not the 'miss' problem.

Did you get the poos?

In all my time travelling, I have never had the poos. Maybe my personal hygiene is well maintained compared to others.

I got the squits in India. After eating at cheap places and roadside stalls I splashed out on a meal in an upmarket restaurant on my last night. I then had the squits big time for the next three weeks.

You have to accept that Indian hygiene standards are much lower than ours. But don't take just my word for it, it was one of Gandhi's aims too, to try and improve Indian standards of hygiene.

I find all these false accusations of racism quite worrying. They set a dangerous president. Soon nobody will dare say anything without fear off offending someone. Its gone too far. Paradoxically, they won't stop racism, just make it more common but not as visible...

That Nixon was a very dangerous precedent,as was Bush Jr.I think preident Obama is sound, though he may set a second precedent if he retains power.

Can you explain this piece of verbal entanglement?

I cant stand the bloke....or his cronies...

He's an absolute cretin. Can't stand his pathetic 'act'. Total bell end.

Funny how his 'fans' are all for him saying what he wants, but don't like it when anyone criticises him.

Yes, those that like the joke to be on others and not themselves.

Thats because the fans have the same lopsided mentality, sixth formers who tossed it off in school and missed out on higher education and then seek refuge in ma and pa's residence while they get work in fathers firm as a make-shift and dead-weight.

I think you'd have to be a pretty sheltered person to be annoyed at a lot of the stuff Clarkson says, personally think he does it for the reactions, but mostly it's just a funny look at the steretypes most races or nationalities are given.

Would you be offended if he took the micky out of the English's bad teeth, love for tea and crumpets and names such as Terrence? I see a lot of that on Family Guy, and I think it's funny. The Mexican thing they were all slated for is just the same.

Plus, take more notice of when he hooked Mays lights to his horn...I thought that was brill, and less notice of minor jokes for you to complain about (aimed at the 23 people who complained...doubt they're on here mind)
