Well I like the show and find it entertaining, to me there loads of other not very entertaining program's on.

I also do NOT think Jeremy Clarkson is a Racist.

I can't stand Eastenders, Emmerdale, Neighbours etc and think the story lines in them can be rather upsetting for a lot of people not to mention a pile of bad acting.

Yes, there is a lot worse stereotyping elsewhere, and much of it teaches very bad practices.

I didn't watch Top Gear but I am now off to iPlayer to do so...

P.S. I take it that anyone here who is complaining, also don't take vaccines and such before travelling. There are certain facts of life and this world...

Actual facts being any change in water can affect a person. I got the trots in Cornwall. I remember lugging bottled water from the supermarkets in Spain. Making it specifically about India is where offence is possible.

I didn't see it myself. :)

But the show was specifically featuring India

As you say any change in water can give you the trots, but I doubt this thread would even be here if the show was set in somewhere like Spain, making similar gags specifically about Spain.

I find all these false accusations of racism quite worrying. They set a dangerous president. Soon nobody will dare say anything without fear off offending someone. Its gone too far. Paradoxically, they won't stop racism, just make it more common but not as visible...

Get real Frank and give over with this 'you can't say anything for fear of being called racist' nonsense.

Thirty seven complaints out of an audience of several million isn't really that worrying.
