He stated a fact.

Go to india, get the squits!

If the indians are annoyed by his comment then maybe they should do more to bring up their standards of cleanliness.

Been to India, have you?

No, he stated an opinion, but Clarkson doesn't hold opinions - just rude observations that he can package as jokes. It's just a joke. I'm in India, I've got a toilet, ooh ooh he he - it's just a joke. Ha ha he he titter titter.

Yes.

Many times.

Many many times.

Did you get the poos?

In all my time travelling, I have never had the poos. Maybe my personal hygiene is well maintained compared to others.

I know enough people who have been to India and a number of times their trip was a little tainted by the runs a couple of times.

Anyway once again twitter and daily mail anger at Top Gear being shown on TV masked as a complaint about something rather trivial.

A harmless joke based on actual facts.

Actual facts being any change in water can affect a person. I got the trots in Cornwall. I remember lugging bottled water from the supermarkets in Spain. Making it specifically about India is where offence is possible.

I didn't see it myself. :)

So just 23 people complained officially?

A spokesman for the BBC said they have been 23 complaints about content 'offensive to India' in the programme, which was broadcast on Wednesday evening.

23 out of how many people that watched the show?

He's been in the news before regarding his comments so now he's going to be shot down for any slight remark he makes.

If you don't like it, don't watch it and stop moaning.

I can't stand Eastenders, Emmerdale, Neighbours etc and think the story lines in them can be rather upsetting for a lot of people not to mention a pile of bad acting.

There's an old saying that goes 'you can't please everyone'. Regardless of the program, if you like it watch it, if you don't, don't. Why moan about 'possible' racist remarks, every single culture is guilty of it.

I find all these false accusations of racism quite worrying. They set a dangerous president. Soon nobody will dare say anything without fear off offending someone. Its gone too far. Paradoxically, they won't stop racism, just make it more common but not as visible...
