Two meat and tatie pasties for a pound? You gotta start thinking what is in them.:gag:

A cheap bit of meat and a bit of potato, more potato than meat.

If most people knew what crap was rammed into their Indian takeaways they would be jet washing their mouths out, and that applies to the best of them.

If people had ever worked at the company who makes not only their own soft drinks but also for many supermarkets then they might be uneasy about drinking pop

Especially the little 300ml bottles

Could probably say the same about a lot of food & drink places. Especially sandwich "factories"

One word on bread (ok two), Chorleywood Process - wouldn't touch with a proverbial. What's sold in the supermarkets is **** masquerading as bread.

lidl and morrisons both do quite acceptable bread for around a quid. what exactly is the problem?

Just why do so many claim to have gut problems. with bread as the main suspect?? Couldn't be because they're putting rubbish down their gullet....

My problem , if you wish to call it that, is that I eat quite a lot of bread. I take sarnies to work. I am informed by someone who knows about nutrition, that there is a vast difference between good bread and not so good bread. As I am eating quite a lot of it I would like it to be good stuff and am prepared to pay more for it.
