Shamblers Walking Group - Penistone Circuit Walk - Monday 2nd January

Recommended Posts

After giving people chance to recover from the socialising on New Years Eve, this is a ideal walk to get back into normality on this Bank Holiday Monday.

Description

Start 2012 with a very easy 5 mile walk which starts in Penistone Town centre, and will take us roughly 2.5 hours plus stoppages. We will be calling at Cubley Hall for refreshments on the homeward part of the walk.. What a fantastic walk today which we are still doing at min but sat at Cubley Hall at min for refreshments, 10 mons away from where we started.

A fantastic turnout, considering we have 6 regulars who were unable to make today for various reasons, 6 new members joined today making a total of 28 walkers, great start to the New Year and glorious sunshine.

Happy New Year to everyone, thanks for your company, to anyone new out there, we welcome new members anytime, no joining fee, and no fee to to walk, the Shamblers is a great way to see the lovely countryside we have walking and socialising with some really nice people, we also have a great social section.
