Suggestions on how to improve my website

hi iv recently set up a new website (http://www.gadgets-n-more.co.uk) and wanting some feed back on my account, for example what i could improve or how to generate traffic. im completley new to this game and any advice would be greatfull thanks

Your layout needs some attention, on every page it's all over the place and on the homepage, I'm viewing it at 1290x1080 and I still need to scroll sideways to see the site

 

Personally I'd:-

 

• Sort those layout issues pronto. A poor looking site reflects on your business. See it as would you turn up for a job interview in your scruffs ?
   
  
• Change the navigation (Homepage/Special etc) and make it horizontal across the page rather than in that box.
   
  
• Make your categories listing the same colour as the rest of the site. A uniform colour scheme as not to distract

Looks like the size of your google ad on the right is causing you to lose your layout. There are loads of gadget websites, it would be better to specialise but with your domain name it looks like you are stuck with it.

hi thanks for your reviews i have change the website design slightly but i am havin trouble moving the google ad to the footer,

 

what ways could i improve traffic without having the need for costs as i am on a low budget

Hi, looks quite decent as it is, although I would agree with MoZaLaN and get a premium theme as they are quite cheap and do a great job. http://www.themeforest.com is a good site to take a look on, or http://www.templatemonster.com

 

Also, perhaps a better title tag on the homepage, and a meta description too.
