If you could impose one rule to the forum.

If you had the chance to add one rule (not remove any rules) to the forum what would it be?

Tempting as it would be to ban certain topics I think I would get rid of all text speak.

I don't mean typo's or genuine spelling mistakes but the lazy way a few people write things out, like they are chatting on facebook, and there would be a penalty for using this lazy language too! Anyone caught would have a three day ban and be forced to read War and Peace in Latin, maybe not in Latin but some language they aren't fluent in. :(

You mean like...

- Be written in English and avoid excessive ‘txt’ speech (L8R, Wknd, etc).

...?

Like that but make there be consequence when they start with these young cool abbreviations that take me two hours and four reads through to work out :suspect:

Two hours, the problem is with you then.

Anyone using text speak should be put up against the wall and disposed of inhumanely.

When I return and come to power this is exactly what will happen.

I would suggest making them stand up in front of everyone and read it out loud, see how silly it sounds but my plan falters a bit, y'know being an on-line forum, no one would see their shame!
