Airgun Shooting Permission Required

Thanks for your sound advise Repo Man, I am just trying to get a foot in the door and hopefully build from there.

 

I have been trying to obtain a permission without success for almost 2 years now and I am finally considering selling the verminator and just watching TV lol

 

After I had exhausted most of Sheffield without any success (just as you said – it’s all sewn up) I then started to knock on doors and leave cards around Scunthorpe as I was on a contract there for 18 Months , but it seemed that you had to be third or fourth generation local to even get a sniff.

I was amazed at this as the land-owners and myself saw loads of crows etc feeding quite merrily away on all the freshly drilled fields!!!!.

 

The only viable alternative I have is to up my offer of £500 to £1000 as a good will gesture and try to build from there once I have shown myself to be responsible and totally trustworthy . I know it goes against the grain mate but at the moment I have nearly £1500 quids worth of gun and filling bottle , scope , case etc.. just going to waste, I can only do so much plinking at euroguns before it becomes so mind numbingly boring and I don’t want to break any laws using the gun in my own garden (small garden).

 

I am only looking for a small piece of land where I can shoot legally and get away from it all for a bit at the weekends and maybe the odd evening after working 60-70 hours every week (just like most of us these days I suppose).
