freyasdad   10 #40 Posted December 27, 2011 That's always a possibility. I heard though the only player leaving was Quinn to Blackpool and that's it.
 Share this content via...

I heard though the only player leaving was Quinn to Blackpool and that's it.  I reckon we'll lose Lowton, but see him stay on loan. Ched will be off i'm expecting too. Quinn or Clarkey, tough one that, though Clarkes extra pace has my vote.
 Share this content via...
freyasdad   10 #42 Posted December 27, 2011 My information comes from a very good source. I do think Wilson has to sacrifice someone and Quinn was the only concrete offer. If United climb to 2 that may change though. Wilson is wanting to strengthen with permanent signings and the names that are supposed to be leaving are permanent players. nubile   10 #43 Posted December 27, 2011 Remember Dean and Fjortoft. ? I take nowt for granted with our lot now.
 Share this content via...
freyasdad   10 #44 Posted December 27, 2011 Yes I do. I do think however Wilson would not have said we are near where we want to be if we were going to lose our better players. I don't think he would stick his neck out with a comment like that.
 Share this content via...

I don't think he would stick his neck out with a comment like that.  Let's rewind to the job interview between McCabe and Wilson.  Yes sir, 3 bags full sir.  Call me a cynic, i am, same owd UTD i fear. freyasdad   10 #46 Posted December 27, 2011 It's easy to be cynical. Selling Evans etc like I said before would be football suicide in a similar way to Dean ant Fjortoft. We can have an opinion on McCabe but stupid he isn't, in my opinion of course.
 Share this content via...
nubile   10 #47 Posted December 27, 2011 Well, we'll see. Unlike certain other clubs fans i'm a glass half full guy, and take the many downs we encounter knowing sometime in the next 20 years we'll have one season of "ups".  UTB's. freyasdad   10 #48 Posted December 27, 2011 It boils down to us trusting McCabe. He has proved successful in his own dealings and I really think he wanted to build United up and leave a legacy. I also think he still wants this hence getting involved again.
 Share this content via...
