Contact lens problem.

£35 sounds about right. I use http://www.visiondirect.co.uk, they're very cheap and require no prescription (I'm not suggesting anyone buy them without, it's just less hassle to be able to copy the details in than have to send a prescription to them) and they're selling them at £33 for 30 pairs. They have much cheaper daily brands which you could try at your opticians to ensure fit (they're all different sizes) before ordering? I have continuous wear lenses but need the odd pair of dailies to get me through the hayfever months and getting them from my regular opticians was proving much more expensive than buying the odd pack I needed online.

 

It is irresponsible to advise anybody to buy contact lenses without a proper opticians prescription how can you buy yours as you say you do. On line they always ask for prescription . Your eyes are very precious and should be looked after not half baked methods as you are suggesting .As you get older it alters and check ups are free and take 10 mins :hihi:

I know people who use http://www.daysoft.com/ and find them very good

 

I recently purchased these for this first time. I found that my left eye was spot on but my right eye was all blurry

 

Checked the pack and it's definitely the right power

 

Have had to switch back to my Acuvue lenses (vision is fine in both eyes with them, same powers as the day soft)

 

Really weird. I wonder if the lenses I got from them are either mislabelled or faulty.

 

Shame as they were very comfortable, convenient and cheap. I may contact them and ask actually.

 

Edit - I asked via the form on their website and within half an hour they responded to tell me they're sending out a replacement box to try! Good service!
