Just seen it again, the GK shook suarez hand, the next Man U player (not sure who it was) refused. Where is the outcry over the Man U player refusing?

The next Man Utd player (Rio Ferdinand) was showing solidarity for his team mate. A team mate who lets not forget is the victim in all this, a victim of cowardly abuse.

Was the next Man United player (Ferdinand) just back from an eight match ban for being an unpleasant racist git?

How would you have reacted in Ferdinand's boots, if you'd seen Suarez blank your team mate like that? Especially given the history.

The big difference between the two is that Suarez's actions were premeditated, Ferdinand's were not.

Suarez is a disgrace, Auto. Dalgleish is equally a disgrace, upon a fine club. Thankfully the owners have recognised that today and started to put things right.

There is a world of difference between the two actions. Suarez was being (at best) petulant , actions were intentional and deliberate - all preplanned (despite, if Dalgliesh is to be understood, promises that he would shake Evras hand). Actions were preplanned and mean't to provoke.

Ferndinand was begin supportive of his team mate and actions were reactionary. Well done Rio.

The situation between Ferdinand and Suarez doesn't compare to the situation between Suarez and Evra.

Suarez had a chance to put an end to all the nonsense, as we now see he wasn't interested in calming the situation and all he wanted to do was wind everyone up a bit more and enflame the situation further.

Oh the hypocrisy. Lectured about right and wrongby Mr Ferguson. He's old but he has a short memory when it comes to players attitudes and how they should behave. That said, Suarez is an idiot as is Evra, as are most footballers nowadays

I agree wibbles, I don't like Ferguson or Liverpool FC and a lot of these over paid premiership stars !

The money in the game is out of control and so are many of the players, but even more so the hype, stories and incidents blown out of all proportion to feed the masses !

It was a racist allegation/incident followed by a snubbed handshake, we can argue the rights and wrongs for sure, but the media coverage has blown it out of all proportion .... real crime and real news has took a back seat in some of the media for this saga.

Where exactly does this incident sit in the rights and wrongs of the world we live in today ?
