Beginner's knitting classes?

Hello, are there any beginners knitting classes near the city centre? I work full-time so prefer weekends but evenings would be fine too!

 

I've been trying to teach myself and it's not going well!!

There are a list of groups at the top of the page, there are a range of groups at different times to suit you, if you check on youtube (http://www.knittinghelp.com)

i learn on the website, as i have a full time job as a editor, in fact, if you study hard, you really don't need to take the course, there are many good videos on YouTube.

I agree it is possible to learn from you tube but classes aren't just about learning techniques they are about practicing and receiving support aswell as socialising with like minded people and making new friends!
