Funny enough I bought one from the forum today on voda even after guy said it was unlocked. It wasn't an issue for me at all.

 

Upgraded to 5.0.1

 

Downloaded the jailbreak bits and bobs and changed the baseband to 6.15 and and installed ultrasn0w and just like magic it's now unlocked.

 

We have a very happy other half.

If you have MicroSIM (Which obviously you do because a normal SIM wont fit into an iPhone) there's no need to get a replacement SIM.

And quite often you'll find one cheap on here, that's either been stolen or it's an insurance case, though either way within a few days you'll find it blocked.
