Old lady pushed over outside market

There's a select few of our 'older generation' that deserves it sometimes though.

Ooooh! Admittedly some can be a touch annoying but none i would say deserve to be brushed aside with out a care given the fragility of some of them.

I guess it depends what kind of person you are really. As a younger fella, I find a lot of the older folks will ignore me, barge bye without a sorry, not thank me for holding doors, and demand respect they think they deserve. I'm not talking pushed by with the force of the OP's grandma, but if I saw one of the older people that have done it to me, get pushed a side one day, I don't think I'd be too bothered.

Maybe they feel they're left with no choice but to emulate folk around them but yes I agree some can be extremely rude.

relative of mine was standing outside the market waiting to cross the road near the bus stops when some ignorant **** with a parcel in his hand bumped into my elderly relative, he was trying to get on the bus, moaning about 'all the old biddies being about' my elderly relative (87) was pushed to the ground and as a result of which has damaged both her knees and hurt one of her hands and gave her a bad gash on the other hand. she had to go to the doctors and it has really knocked her duck right off! ruined her christmas. she would like to thank the people that helped her at the scene and i would like to say to the bloke that did it you currant! you have totally ruined someones christmas!

Whilst there is no excuse for this person's behavior in any event who should have clearly stopped and helped your relative. A lot of the usua keyboard warrior "vile" "rude" "pig" extreme comments are rather unjustified considering you seem to be making two very different statements in your post.

Did he shove her over or simply bump into her causing her to fall??

Deliberate act to harm or an accident causing her injury?

Two very different things.

Perhaps, but I thought it were children that were to copy the people around them, two wrongs and all that. Personally I'd prefer a sarcastic/whitty reponse instead of pushing lol.

i'll try and explain it a little bit better for you. he deliberately bumped into her with the parcel and knocked her off her feet whilst moaning about "all these biddies" being in his way. basically, he just barged his way onto the bus with no regard for anyone in his way. there were several people who witnessed the whole thing and heard his comments, all of whom stopped to help. hope this makes it a little clearer for you. i'm sure you will make your own mind up but to me and those that saw it; deliberate act!

It's just a shame that no one saw fit to confront him at the time.
