When what gets better next year? The economy? Oh dear, I'm afraid you're in for a bit of a shock.

Trolls don't "do" consistency.

Things will get better next year.

They always do.

For a start we will have new government, which is a good thing.

I dont do trolling as you call it.

That is a statment of fact.

Cameron will call an election next year.

He has to.

We cannot carry on like this.

so are you stating that as you are a member of the cabinet?, or are you just blindly speculating?:loopy:

Although she has a contract for a 39hr week I guess the employer might argue that this could be averaged out over the year ( Annualised hours ) …….. the idea of a unpaid holiday sounds wrong but with some form of notice I would have thought the place could shut up and force people to take holidays if there was no work.

If she was working annualised hours (which would need to explicitly written into the contract) then her pay wouldn't vary even though her hours did, it seems fairly obvious that this isn't the case.

I am speculating yes.

But with good knowlege as we all have.

The PM cannot continue as he is.

We need a firm government.

This half arsed set up is no good.

so an opinion based on personal political bias and on no fact at all, makes your original statement look rather pointless then really

I wasn’t suggesting she was on a annualised contract, I was suggesting that when times are hard an employer might try and use the annualised hours concept rather than lay people off......... sorry if that wasnt too obvious.

We will see what the PM makes of it in the new year.
