Man killed in car and bus crash Ecclesfield Road 16/12/11

Just hard to turn round on Ecclesfield road due to there being a bus embedded in a lamp post. Ambulances and fire engines on scene, people were walking away from it.

 

So

a) the road is blocked by the school, don't try and go up there, and

b) anyone know what happened and if everyone is ok?

looks serious at least 2 fire engines and umpteen police road will be closed for quite sometime

Outside my house looks like the bus has hit a car and shoved it to the other side of the road

Its a double decker and all front of bus is smashed up ambulance pulled up

 

right up to car so still trying to get people out hope their not too injured

Indeed. I remember an experiment on a TV show (many years ago) in which they rode a motorcycle through a bus. They are extremely flimsy.

According to control room at city cars, road gonna be closed all night by the sound of it.

And how would a taxi driver know its a fatex?-I find it extremely disrespectful that a) someone can start rumours like this!; b) they have contacted a taxi driver before the family members!.

Maybe they drove past and noticed a body that was fully covered.
