DUNKS Â Â 10 #1 Posted January 11, 2004 I have a '' Love Letter '' sent to one of my ancesters , along with photo and phone number. It was sent ( delivered by hand ) at least 50 yrs ago . mojoworking   10 #8 Posted January 12, 2004 It dates back to at least the mid 1800s and is a dedication - the kind of thing people used to write in autograph books of family members/friends who were getting married or going off on long journeys etc. It's typically Victorian in sentiment and possibly has no known author (although I'll stand corrected on that).
