Christmas lights in and around Sheffield

You mean Northfields, it used to be really good until the druggies thought they could make a quick bit of cash from stealing the lights. I live the next village on from there.

 

My cousin was one of the people who used to take part spending thousands on lights and decorations but one night he ended up having to chase some scum down the road who were attempting to steal the decorations off his garden and the police were not interested so they dont bother now.

Go and look at Abbeydale Park Rise off Abbeydale Road in Totley. The residents put on a great display every year and cover the trees outside their houses in fairy lights

Abbeydale park rise is fabulous. We go there every year and it never lets us down! It must take ages to put all the lights up! Winter wonderland!!!
