mh01 Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Just decided to check on Salisbury.... Their average attendance is around 700, not 200 - with an average ticket price of £10. So effectively £7k per home game..... obviously minus their costs, you'd imagine £5k They've earned already £27k just for getting to this round, and another £67.5k if they beat us. Let's say we earn 80k, with 32k being their share... minus costs, you'd imagine around 24k being the net. If you don't call that a nice little pay day, well then that's baffling. Also, it would appear their manager is pleased with the draw, the salisbury manager was interviewed on the news & said he was excited with the draw cos 1 of his relatives is in the blades academy & his mother has been recieving treatment for cancer & he was hoping to take her to bramall lane (if shes well enough) for what is gonna be a great day out for the club no matter what the result.
CorkerSWFC Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 From what i remember of Salisbury coming to Hillsborough they brought quite a lot of fans for a non league club. Good luck to them in there moment in the limelight.

CorkerSWFC Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 i hope they give a good account of themselves like they did at grimsby the other night, it were a decent game I didn't get to see it to be honest but would have liked to, there my sort of games lol. Good game for both sides really, a good chance for United to progress and a good chance for Salisbury to try and pull off a cup shock, there is also the money which will help them.
