sportsvoice Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 The daily star seem to that deals in principle have been agreed by Sheffield Wednesday for the permanent services of on loan duo Steven Bywater and Danny Batth, however Stoke city are seriously considering a £1.5m bid from Huddersfield for Ben Marshall which could see the League One promotion hopefuls miss out. In an interview with SportsNet Danny Uchechi expressed his time at Sheffield Wednesday as a MASSIVE disappointment, in his time at Hillsborough the young Nigerian striker only made one appearance and felt extremely hard done by, Uchechi said "I joined Sheffield Wednesday as I was promised games but I just didn't get them, I don't think the style of Sheffield or League One suits my style of play at all, to play in that league you need to be physical however I like to play football on the floor and be creative".
scoobydotcom Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Uchechi going to Oldham? Huddersfield making bids like this to see how much we want him. Doubt they think they'll get him just be trying uo upset the applecart so to speak
NERVY-OWL Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 I read the rumour about the hudds bid, not sure what to make of it but if true I cant see us offering near that. I'm just taking any rumours regarding our loan players with a pinch of salt and see what happens in january

Be interesting to see If these Marshall to uddersfelt rumours miraculously die down after Saturday and to start a thread with The daily Star reports is laughable. Uchechi ? Shocking ..... that is all
BigTeeOwls Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Nigeria Under-23 forward Daniel Uchechi says he has not really achieved his aim of moving clubs from Leicester City to Sheffield Wednesday. Uchechi told KickOffNigeria.com that the real reason he joined his current club was to get more playing time ahead of the January transfer window. "I needed more playing time ahead of the January transfer window and that is simply why I made that change. "The second reason was to get some match fitness because there was no point really staying at Leicester if I wasn't going to play games. "Again, many people do not know that Sheffield is really a big club. Up till a few years ago they were in the Premiership so I needed more games at a good club." However, Uchechi quite admits that he has not achieved his aim of going to Sheffield. "Sadly, I found out that League One is not a football playing league. It's tougher than it is made out to be. You have to be well equipped physically to succeed there so I have not really achieved my aim of coming here. "We all know that Nigerians are more technical but League One and Championship is more like kick and follow and we are not well adapted to that system." Uchechi was part of the Nigerian Olympic team who failed to qualify for the 2012 Olympic Games. Thats what he said>>>>> not the rubbish SportsVoice posted.... Keep trying
BigTeeOwls Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 So SportsVoice link me to the Uchechi interview then? or did you read the real interview i posted, and then went about adding your red n white bitterness to the jackanory?

sportsvoice Posted December 14, 2011 Author Posted December 14, 2011 So SportsVoice link me to the Uchechi interview then? or did you read the real interview i posted, and then went about adding your red n white bitterness to the jackanory? I simply copied and pasted the above from a 606 post dude so why don't you re-apply your google gloves and go find it. As for your Jackanory comment, I care not for either of your clubs thank you very much, I simply enjoy the football conversation, I definately don't care enough to fabricate anything for either Sheffield supporters enjoyment. Keep up the hard work googling Sheffield Forum Sherlocks but I have nothing to hide, I share allegiance with neither Sheffield team nor would I waste any of my time nor money following them as I would personally consider them both to be poor value I'm waiting for the point that both Blades and Owls realise I support neither and point out that I'm on the wrong forum. My interest is solely football and I have lived in your City for quite a while therefore have a secondary interest in both Sheffield teams, however that is pretty much the extent of it. I wouldn't live with myself if I had to put money over either turnstyle i'm afraid, however give me a free ticket at work and I will go along for the football.
