According to their website it takes 16 days to apply for a license but what then?? Could you book a ceremony for just after the 16 day period or is the registery office fully booked for weeks and weeks ahead?? could you literally get married in 16 days?? Thankyou in advance. XX

linzday Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Once you've given your notice of intention to marry, after the 16 days is up you can just get married on the first available date you can get. You could probably get a week day fairly quickly, might struggle to get a Saturday in the immediate future. Ring them up, they'll tell you available dates x
