wibbles Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 What more do you need to know? It's all there in black and white
love_rat Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Apparently he went back inside at 9.45am shouting and screaming. So we was unharmed, thankfully. Some people don't like heights and so for these kinds of people jumping off a block of flats is not a good way to go. I'm assuming he got to the top of the flats, panicked, looked at the drop, suffered from vertigo and thought "this might hurt" and decided to go back inside

mort Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Somebody being in sufficient mental turmoil to consider throwing themselves off a tower block is no joking matter. Have some decency please and cease with the cheap jokes.
Billygwizz Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 I happen to know the individual and he is having a tough time at the moment, social services are trying to prevent him from seeing his kids and he'd just received some devastating news about the health of his wife - these issues alone are enough to cause anyone to try and drown the sorrows and end it all. I don't necessarily agree with his actions but when you're as emotionally low as he's been anything is possible. He's ill and needs support rather than being riddiculed.
Bethsmummy Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 I Hope your friend finds some peace and gets the help he needs. No one deserves to be so desperate & in such a dark place. good luck to him & I Hope he can gather all his strength & come out of all this a much stronger person. XX
Billygwizz Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Thanks for your kind words "Bethsmummy". He's more than just a friend - he's my younger brother and we care for him very much. As a family we want to try and help him re-build his life - but he also has to try and help himself on this difficult journey.

He is at a low place at the moment, where noone else can enter, i have been there, and my friends and family helped me out of it, it took time. It always does, but its worth it.
