i went to pets at home yesterday and they gave me some tablets told me to use ROyal Canine food and then i found the paste as well so will try him on both. I am worried though as he now has blood in his urine!! he had this only a couple of weeks ago and after they stay in the vets over night he was fine and weeing properly now it has come back, i feel awful and feel like crying as i know its comfy for him and i have had to come to work and can;t get him to the vets until tonight!! and then its the costs, OH had hours cuts as well so in a right predicament!!

We had a english blue cat for 12 year who got cystitus 3 time throught his life and the vets recommened soaking his biscuits inwater to softed them up and to make sure he had plenty of wet food which solved the problem from him being 5 all the way to the day he died at a ripe old age of 12 hope this helped in anyway :)

I don't know if it would help but my cats both like drinking running water, you can get little water fountains for cats or turn the tap on for them a little - might encourage him to drink more which may help?

Poor puss I hope something works for him :(
