Police appeal for information after Sheffield man dies in Parkway crash

Police are appealing for information after a 51-year-old man died when the car he was driving left the road in Sheffield last night, Friday, 9 December. At around 9.35pm the 51-year-old man, was travelling in a blue Peugeot 306 on the A57 slip road towards Prince Of Wales Road and Sheffield Parkway when the car swerved... from the left lane of the slip road into the right hand lane, before mounting the kerb and scraping along the offside crash barrier. The Peugeot then weaved across the city carriageway of the Sheffield Parkway. The car collided with a nearside crash barrier, and then veered towards the central barrier, where the Peugeot overturned and came to rest on its roof. The man, from Sheffield, suffered fatal head injuries and died at the scene. Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen the manner of driving prior to the collision. Anyone with information is urged to call South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident ...........JUST GOT THIS OF S.Y.P FACEBOOK PAGE
