bslbabe Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 I am disillusioned in my current teaching job and thinking of a change. I have done domestic cleaning in the past and really enjoyed the freedom of it (and the work). I have a friend who lives in London who pays a lady (part of a company), to visit the house daily (mid week) for about half an hour to simply make the beds, clear away the breakfast pots, have a quick general tidy of all rooms, bathrooms, let the dog out etc...etc... whilst she is at work. She is a full time working mum of three and says she finds this service invaluable, as she comes home tired and stressed but doesn't have to face the mornings carnage when she walks in. Could the hard working people of Sheffield use a service like this I wonder. Your thoughts would be appreciated. My friend pays £50.00 per week, but that is central London. Would Sheffielders (and Peak District area) pay £30 - £40 per week for this daily help ?? Thanks
