What I would like to know, is why do drivers now drive all the way in the (Fast) right lane, my sister failed her test for this, and now that is all that happens, drivers should be in the left (slow) lane unless pulling off at a slip road ???

Because it is a dual carriageway and it was rush hour out of Sheffield

Take the Bus......... Simples.

Not that many buses on the parkway.:D

Well, there's the A1, X4, X5, X6, X13, X14, 30, X52... Not too shabby...

As for the OP, I'm not sure what more can be said. I'll have to log in to the Forum every night to see whether I have upset any fellow pedestrians on my walk to work...

Mental note:

- avoid being in (and hanging around in) others' blindspots (on right hand side or left hand side)

- once I've identified an aggressive (?) or simply unaware driver who has just cut me up, stay well back from him so as not to give him another opportuntity to repeat the "error"

- ask myself whether I always check into my own blindspots before I change lanes

IMO using the terms fast and slow lanes adds to the problem. Some people think "I am travelling fast, therefore I should be in the 'fast' lane". They should be thinking "The left hand lane is clear, I should be in it"

If you weren't the driver it doesn't apply to any of you , I addressed it to the driver so please do Not concern you little selves about the wording and don't lose any sleep over any of it

I am not sure the driver will remember a skirmish of this sort and probably thinks you were at fault. What is the chance the driver will read this and more significantly moderate their conduct?
