Joto   11 #15 Posted December 23, 2011 Remamber my Mom saying babies were fed Nestles milk let down with water. which must be over 70 years ago  I think 65 or 70 years ago they breastfed their babies till they were a year old, by then they had all their teeth to chew things. Do you remember in the 60s those tin's of baby food, the dessert one, banana's with rice was yummy. Don't ask how I know I don't think they would miss a spoon or two, do you. trastrick   866 #19 Posted April 5, 2017 This will sound gross, but during the war my great grandmother used to pre-chew whatever food we had from the rations and feed it to the babies.  Actually saw this when I was 5, or so! Texas   10 #21 Posted April 6, 2017 I can imagine the squeamish reacting to that but to my mind it's only the same as breastfeeding. How did we get this far? Breastfeeding and a form of regurgitation.
 Share this content via...
