Krush Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Maybe the two beautiful yorkies at rain rescue could be just the babies for you?
Labadore Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Hi I am sure you will find many of the rescue centres are full to the brim with dogs, have a look on Ineedahome, rain rescue, rotherham dog rescue and the pounds. It would also be beneficial if you looked throug some of the threads on this forum as you will see there are many links. In true, here's one we prepared earlier style, however, you may wish to check out our website, Labradorwelfare.org. We currently still have little Bruce with us. He is a two year old black labrador cross and is just like a labrador pup to look at although fully grown. He came to us very underweight and via social services. He is now looking a smart little chap and is desperate for his forever home. He is good with other dogs and is a little on the bouncy side but should benefit from love and training. He just needs to learn. If Bruce takes your fancy then please fill in an on line application to register your details with us. At this time it does not commit you to a rehoming but gives us the opportunity to match you. You should then give June a ring. If Bruce is not what you are looking for then please, please continue in your search for a rescue dog. You will feel so thrilled when you identify your new family member and get them home. Good luck and thank you for persisting.
dirteecash Posted December 5, 2011 Author Posted December 5, 2011 well i would love to have them but im sure i was told rain rescue charge 150 per dog and at the moment 300 for 2 dogs is just not something i can afford plus i dont think i could manage with two lol

Labadore Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Hi Dirteecash In rough terms it means that Bruce was not cared for correctly. He was starved of both food and obviously love. He has however not lost his trust in us humans. Bruce is a special little boy who will only go to a home where all his wishes will come true. He deserves it bless him. You can see him on our website. He is unrecognisable to the dog that came to us mid October.
daydreamblvr Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 I hope you have given this a lot of thought dirteecash. I would hate any animal to end up in the same state as that poor neglected starved pregnant cat you off loaded a few months ago Rescues think very carefully before letting this person adopt any of your animals
dirteecash Posted December 5, 2011 Author Posted December 5, 2011 I hope you have given this a lot of thought dirteecash. I would hate any animal to end up in the same state as that poor neglected starved pregnant cat you off loaded a few months ago Rescues think very carefully before letting this person adopt any of your animals if you read the add that was posted by us a few months ago regarding the cat you will know that is was not our cat she was dumped on us by a so called friend and at that time we could not afford to care for her but we are in a better position to have an animal now and this has not been a snap decision weve been looking at adopting for a while now everyone was so helpful trying to find her a home so we would like to rpay the favour to a poor dog in need
dirteecash Posted December 5, 2011 Author Posted December 5, 2011 he was attacked by two dogs (not in sheffield) and the injurys he recieved were so bad that he had to be put down this is one of the reasons my wife is looking for another dog
