middy20 Â Â 10 #22 Posted December 10, 2011 I sent my son to school and believed him to be safe wether they had heaters on or not. For them to use the heaters in the first place they would have had to do a risk assesment and if it was unsafe they would not have used them. At the age they are I am sure they know the danger of fires. Beck is only one of the schools in this area that stay open or try too. If it snows it is the last to shut. Good on you. I would have sent them with jumpers and gloves if there was no heating.
 Share this content via...

middy20   10 #24 Posted December 10, 2011 I'm with you, our lads school closes at the mention of bloody snow  I remember when heating was not around, you put on clothes to keep warm. Schools shut way to much now days, I congratulate the school for trying to get the kids an education and not shutting. They are really good at Beck for keeping open when others dont. I think last year when the snow was bad it was open 2 days longer than the school just a 5 minute walk away.
 Share this content via...
