Sheffield Farmers Markets and Local Fairs

Hi All,

 

I'm trying to find out how many Sheffield Farmers Markets and Local Fairs there are, I'm also trying to get the dates and times for 2012, I know there is a Nether Edge market, one in the City Centre and Chatsworth House have one but not sure of the dates etc. Can anyone help me out a let me know if they know of another types of events.

the one in the town centre is a rip off the german stall wasnt selling german food/meat it was polish food/meat and when I challenged the guy behind the stall he said 'how do you know?' I just smiled and muttered something in german lol shouldve seen his face

think Heeley City Farm have one today (now I think) and there is a Nether Edge Farmers Market and Christmas fair tomorrow, 12-4pm .... not sure if this is different from the usual NetherEdge market ?? flyer for 4 Dec has dates for 2012 too: http://www.netheredge.org.uk/

There is some info about markets in the city centre on the Sheffield City Council website although it doesn't look like it's been updated for 2012 yet - http://www.sheffield.gov.uk/business-economy/markets

There may also be info on this site http://www.welcometosheffield.co.uk/events but I haven't looked in great detail.

Many thanks all, that’s a good start, what I was also after are the local communities ones, like the Nether Edge or similar ones if anyone knows any details on those.

There is one at Sharrow Vale - Sunday 1th Dec think it starts at noon until 1600hrs

Hi all

 

There is a market at Sharrowvale Road this coming Sunday, 22nd April 2012. My dad is opening his wood floor showroom for the day, and also has some local art, garden and home accessories and antiques for sale if anyone fancies a look. He's based on Cowlishaw Works, opposite Otto's restaurant. The showroom is called Shipston Real Oak Floors. If anyone misses him on Sun he is open most Saturdays :-) Hope this is of interest.
