tomyqss   10 #1 Posted November 29, 2011 hi, quick question  i have a bitch (cross staff) thats just come in to season...this is her second season, but she seems to be bleeding more this time, is this normal?  i have read about womb infections that can make them bleed more, shes happy, playful an not off her food....   i've never owned a bitch before so this is kinda new to me  thanks tomy
 Share this content via...
becca234591 Â Â 10 #2 Posted November 29, 2011 She will be fine. It is very common for bleeding. They are just like humans some people bleed more than others. Â If you notice a change in her behaviour or she goes off her food then that's when you should start to worry a little(but not a lot as going off food can also be a sign of being in season). Rainrescue   10 #5 Posted November 29, 2011 I can also get you a free neutering voucher so you can get her spayed at 12 weeks after this season. The end to all this hassle about them coming into season.  Hopefully the Dogs Trust are running the scheme next year - and if so, she will be ready to be spayed about Feb time.
