Tony Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 If I don't want to receive anything for Christmas should I be expected to give?
Chris_Sleeps Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 It's about celebrating the birth of Christ, surely?
janie48 Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 christmas is about giving and receiving.but giving gives more pleasure.
chem1st Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Domestic violence increases at xmas, many people give their missus a slap. Many women attack their partners. Families fight. This year, give the frontline staff at the NHS a well earned break and have a cup of tea instead of fighting amongst yourselves.
Little Boots Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 I think it is about giving, I love seeing the look on family members faces when they open a present from me
janie48 Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 i love giving presents yes me too,but its a relief to have got them and have them wrapped and ready to give.i used to love christmas shopping but as i get older i seem to have less taste for it.i am thinking of gift vouchers this year--but i feel a bit bad about that. the meaning of Christmas does have have religious significance for me,so i hope i am not too busy and preoccupied not to dwell on that sometimes.
