New poles 2012 ??

depends dave, ive got them on my preston pole, you can see it at lindholme and see it for yourself, but daiwa pulla kits have 2 holes so it goes out and then back in the pole, i do know the carbon fibre is strengthened at those points so there is a little more room to grab the laccy, but its not much more than a millimetre gap between the pole and the laccy

main problem with them is when you pull the laccy it tightens from the bung end aswell.at £85 a pop i'd rather swap them for ctk5's and just use a pullabung !!

Thats what i mean Doug, people with Interlastic tops are just using one of the holes and using them like side pullas, Daiwa mite have got this one wrong trying something new, like animal says it would also put strain on the bung if used through both holes.

yep think they got it wrong,it's often they do,but like the hydra pults someone at daiwa has dropped a clanger,if theres no way to swap the tops i think i'll save a bit more a go with the shimano fireblood, not intrested in maver and not fond of preston poles either !!

You's lot have got too much bloody money lol

Ha i wish:hihi:. i will be using Fosters of Birmingham, 10% of the poles price for deposit and the rest over 12 months interest free, simples:hihi:

I will be selling my other poles to fund a decent deposit, one is only just over a year old (Maver 131 competition), an old but was top of the range Daiwa Whisker High Performance and a crackin much loved Black Magic 2, so fingers crossed.
