the whisker isn't as strong as the g20,i was looking at one to replace my g8 but was warned off it by some of the lads they all said g8 is better

Totally agree with you the G20 is very nice, but the Terrain is a little better balanced and suits me better, its all personal choice at the end of the day.

Happy New Year to all.

Thats possibly my plan if i can sway Fosters to do it, then a Whisker should only be about £1400, i have looked at the Interlastic tops but really unsure about them, prefer to have pulla bungs and solids on some tops too.

i dont like how the laccy sits between 2 holes, how are you supposed to grab it when it's tight with a fish on ? and with it being open between the 2 holes is the laccy gunna perish under useage and weather condtions ?? thats my concern with them.

It seems that people are just using one hole and putting a bead on it and not using a bung.

depends dave, ive got them on my preston pole, you can see it at lindholme and see it for yourself, but daiwa pulla kits have 2 holes so it goes out and then back in the pole, i do know the carbon fibre is strengthened at those points so there is a little more room to grab the laccy, but its not much more than a millimetre gap between the pole and the laccy
