I'm a member of a small private forum, when i'm logging in the admin says that Ive got 7/8 "guests" logging in with me.

Ive had my laptop looked at they cant see anything the matter with it, my security is up to date.

Its not doing it on another forum i go on, i'm wondering if i could find out if its doing it on here?

The admin on the forum say they cant find anything, though they aren't really computer savvy

Any ideas folks...

Search engines/bots?

Do you not log all visitors? If yes, the IP of the "guests" should be listed which you can perform a whois look up of and find out who owns the IP.

Thanks for that, but the admin say the guests are logging in with the same ISP as me meaning Sky??

In that case, it would probably be a lag in the log creation SW that isn't being updated after you log in. What script is the site running?

Same ISP != same IP. Maybe there are a few "guests" that are using Sky as their ISP?

The other thread was still on the first page of this section, I'm sure 0742Sheff meant the OP should have replied on that thread instead of making another for the same issue....which the mods don't like.

When i said bumped, i meant bumping it by adding the new info from this OP. I've administrated 2 forums and moderated 2 more Rich. I don't need teaching how to suck eggs.
