what safeguards are in place when banking on line---i am concerned that when something may happen to the account holder, who will know about the account.--the next of kin or partner may not have access to the account and as I see it no paperwork is there to be followed up on-------I have recently opened an on line ISA but when I checked the balance there was nothing showing in it---I phoned up and some money was transferred to it-----I checked later on and read that the account had been locked down---telling me to phone head office --this I did and was told a new password would be sent by post---10days later nothing this does nothing for my confidence in this type of banking and may lead to more dormant accounts
