CorkerSWFC Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 With Ertl and Taylor expected back in the next few weeks and Morgan back in the new year we'll have plenty of defensive cover, midfield we've got options and upfront we could do with a player coming in whose ready to hit the ground running. What about when your high earners leave in January though ??
alex3659 Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 All renting those lads out did was paper over the cracks as we discussed the other day, you had to bring them in because of lack of bodies at the club. The last three loan players what we have brought in are replacements for players we already have at the club. Couple more injuries for you lad's and you will be up the old swanny. Six loan players are covering a large part of your squad corky, your lot are as thin as us.
Hotmale 1954 Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Hes at Arsenal for a good reason. I reckon hell do well at Wednesday.
NERVY-OWL Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 We have brought in 3 players to cover injuries to 3 of our players, dont see the problem. As sibon said megson is thinking ahead. What if we got an injurie to another defender on saturday, we woyldnt be able to loan anyone then. Better to have too many than too little
alex3659 Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 What about when your high earners leave in January though ?? What about is all pie in the sky untill it happens, there could be a lot of ins and outs at your place as well.
Stockers Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 What about when your high earners leave in January though ?? I expect Wilson has replacements in mind if Quinn, Monty or Evans are sold! I don't know who else will go, i can't see anyone wanting Simmo, Ertl or Morgan as this point in their careers and i doubt anyone will take a chance on Evans with his situation so we'd be looking to replace Quinn and Monty, with money in the bank and the best part of £30k saved on wages we'll have options, we might go for that lad Marshall

Without doubt, it's gonna be an interesting January at S6, Wednesday obviously have some sort of pulling power these day's with the bigger clubs so that's a great sign. Watt wouldn't have been no where near us a year or two ago.
