Guest Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Basically, I live in Hull. I need to be down Bawtry road next friday around 1Pm. Was wondering how/what's the quickest way to get there. Been looking on google maps and it seems easiest to get a train to meadowhall and walk the rest. Is that the case, or anyone else reccomend something else?
Strix Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 there's a transport interchange at meadowhall, so changing to a bus should be easy. that area's not particularly pedestrian friendly, and you'll probably have further to walk than you think use the traveline website to find you full journey and connections
Bludragonfly Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 whereabouts on Bawtry Road - it's long?
Bludragonfly Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Hi, it will be good 2 miles from Meadowhall train station but there will be plenty of buses - check out travelsouthyorkshire website for details
SportsTrophy Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 The Sports centre is across the road from where I live. Probably best getting off in Rotherham and going to the bus station there. Get the number 32 circular route bus and get off outside the Fairways Pub on Bawtry Road at the junction of Bonnet Lane. The centre is then over the top of the crown of the hill past Aurora flood lit pitches.
