No sound on tv with freeview

Is anyone else having problems with freeview sound reception? We have a perfect picture but no sound since yesterday.Tried a different TV and can get sound on that but some channels are missing.Don't know whether to buy a new Tv or whether it is a problem with the freeview signal.

if another tv plays sound then it's not the signal - is it a hdtv you've got? if so fully power it off for about 30 seconds and switch back on.

 

you could also try retuning it

If i was you id get hold of another scart lead and retune other set before anything else.

Thanks, It isn't HDTV but I did try a retune which didn't help.The scart lead idea might be worth a try.

yeh look at unplugging and reseating the scart leads
