Players Required For Over 35 Team

Sheffield Bankers Over 35's of the Wragg League Division 1 require players for all positions, especially a goal keeper.

 

We have excellent home facilities at University Of Sheffield Warminster Road ground. Good set of lads who play decent football, with a few pints and food after the game in the Banner Cross.

 

So if you are, or at least look 35 or over please get in touch.

hi.. where and when do you train... I played for niagara a few years ago before the team folded and not kicked a football since other than in the garden with the kids..

You expect us to play on a Saturday and have something left in the tank to train midweek?! No, we train at Collegiate Crescent on the little 3g astro there. Some of the Over 35s train (the training is also for our open aged 1st & 2nd team), some play midweek 5 a side, and others (myself included I'm ashamed to say) do nothing.

 

You're more than welcome to come along, we're at home tomorrow (Warminster Road, centre top pitch). Meeting at 1pm for 2pm KO.

Excuse my ignorance, but to play in this league do you have to be 35 or over 35 (ie 36 plus) - I am 35 in April and looking to move up and be a 'young un' again.
