Recommended Posts

My grandson aged 11 has just had a horrific accident where he split his pancreas, hes on the mend and needs to follow a low fat diet, hes really thin because hes lost loads of weight and has little appetite, i know its early days but the hospital offered fortijuice which he says are disgusting lol im just wondering if anyone has any tips to build him up???

He cant have complan because of the fat content and he needs to have skimmed milk ect, anyone know of any vitamins ect or supplements he can have, the dietician is due to ring later in the week but just wondered if anyone had any ideas.I would do anything to make him well and put some weight on x

You need to ask his GP for an emergency referal to a dietitian, they are the only real people qualified to help you
