Hi Guys At 3am this morning Dore and Totley Vets in Totley Sheff, was broken in to and a number of charity boxes were taken, which is incredibly upsettin in itsself ,

but my laptop was also taken - and i was hoping that people who read this will keep a look out for it has it has photos on of my pets. And if someone is offered a laptop fitting this discription cheap they would kindly let the police or myself know -

Its a Silver toshiba 250 smdl 15.6inch man part number i have.

It has photos of a white cat and a bullstiff x and photos on women playing rugby.

It also has sage on it with passwords so will be locked.

Ed Sheeran cd in disc drive.

Please help and spread word , that someone is working area doing smash and grabs so keep charity boxes hidden for sake off charities. We are the 5th place to have charity boxes taken in a week.

Any ideas about my laptop call 01142621444 or police thank u xx

I do wonder about the validity of charity boxes in this day and age :shakes:

Now that it's possible to text donations, a poster would be a much more secure and less hassle way to raise funds

I really hope you get the laptop back, and that nobody there has been too much disrupted by this

having to text to donate is much less likely to happen. holding those few pennies of change with a charity box next to you guilts you into putting it in, that is how they work and they are very succesfull at it as well.

That is a very low thing to do. I am sorry to hear about the break in and the loss of the charity donations and your laptop. I hope you have some success reclaiming it. I will be sure to put the word out on FB.

That is awful, having just had our house broken into and laptop among other things stolen I can sympathise with the loss of photos etc plus extra inconvenience. Hope they catch the scumbags. How low can you go?!

It's difficult to imagine any one so low and devoid of any kind of human emotions that would enable them to steal a charity box. Sad sad individuals.

A sandwich shop I know has two charity boxes chained down as last year a pair of scruffy looking individuals made off with them and a few from different shops in the area.
