Strix Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 I do wonder about the validity of charity boxes in this day and age Now that it's possible to text donations, a poster would be a much more secure and less hassle way to raise funds I really hope you get the laptop back, and that nobody there has been too much disrupted by this
ap123 Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 having to text to donate is much less likely to happen. holding those few pennies of change with a charity box next to you guilts you into putting it in, that is how they work and they are very succesfull at it as well.
Ting~Tong Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 The low lifes, and i realy hope u get yr laptop back
Agent Orange Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 That is a very low thing to do. I am sorry to hear about the break in and the loss of the charity donations and your laptop. I hope you have some success reclaiming it. I will be sure to put the word out on FB.
Boing Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 That is awful, having just had our house broken into and laptop among other things stolen I can sympathise with the loss of photos etc plus extra inconvenience. Hope they catch the scumbags. How low can you go?!
ANGELFIRE1 Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 It's difficult to imagine any one so low and devoid of any kind of human emotions that would enable them to steal a charity box. Sad sad individuals. Regards Angel.
WallBuilder Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 A sandwich shop I know has two charity boxes chained down as last year a pair of scruffy looking individuals made off with them and a few from different shops in the area.
