Reason for Rehome / Sale One retired breeding sow, one not good enough to show

Has the Pet been in Rescue Previously? No

 

Can the animal be picked up and put into a basket without the risk of scratching or biting? Yes

 

Age & Sex One is just over a year, the other is 8 weeks

 

Breed/ Mix Older sow is a Peruvian, the younder is a smooth

 

Colour/coat type One long, one short

 

Can the animal be groomed/handled without biting or scratching? Yep

 

Live in / out Out at the moment but would easily adapt to being inside

 

 

Any special knowledge needed The long haired sow is a retired breeder so will need a strictly no breeding home. She will need regular trimming to stop her coat becomming matted

 

General Information you can share These two beautiful pigs have been bred by myself and are looking for a pet home. As mentioned above, the older sow is not to be used for breeding (I shall explain why if anyone is interested)

 

Please note, I will NOT be holding these until Christmas to go for presents, these are animals, not toys that can be disposed of after a few weeks.

 

Piggies can live for upto 8 years so please think carefully before taking any on
